8 Legislators from Sikkim participate in National Workshop
Gangtok: 8th Oct: Members of Sikkim Legislative Assembly including Aditya Golay Tamang, Delay Namgyal Barfungpa, Erung Tenzing Lepcha, Kala Rai, Madan Cintury, . Pamin Lepcha, Sonam Tshering Venchungpa and Sudesh Kumar Subba are in Delhi for two day National Workshop for State Legislators on Energy and Environment organised by PRS, Legislative Research, New Delhi scheduled for 9th and 10th of October, 2025.
The first day of the Workshop focussed on
Current Status of Energy and Environment
Sectors,Understanding Power Distribution: Financial Pressures and Emerging Issues,
Challenges in Power Generations and Transmission: The Way forward and
Disaster Management -Financing : Emerging Issues.
The delegation will attend three more workshop sessions on Friday.
