Gangtok,12th June : Sikkim CM PS Tamang,has conveyed condolences towards those who lost their life due to Being crash today afternoon. ‘I am deeply saddened by the tragic crash of Air India Flight AI171 near Ahmedabad. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families and loved ones of all those affected. This devastating incident has left us in shock, and our thoughts are with the victims and the emergency responders working tirelessly at the scene’,said CM.
‘We stand united in grief and solidarity with the families and communities impacted by this tragedy.’So far one man has been found alive,but former CM of Gujrat Vijay Rupani,is said to be no more.The rescue teams are looking for more survivers.
The Boeing 787 from Ahmedabad to London,happened to crash almost 5 minutes after take off.The AIR India plane crashed on a Civil hospital & hostel building ,with residential quarters nearby.The Boeing Dream Liner crashing on hospital resulted in injury to 50-60 MBBS students studying there.
There were 242 persons,including 10 crew 2 Pilots.Rest included 169 Indian,1 Canadian,53 British,7 Portugese,as being reported .The causes of the unfortunate tragedy will be looked into
