SDF Supports Congress ? shouts’ Vote Thief Quit ‘in Support of Rahul Gandhi: SKM
Gangtok, ‘The joint protest in Gangtok by the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) and the Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee (SPCC), shouting “Vote Thief, Quit Power” slogans in support of Rahul Gandhi, on Monday ,has exposed SDF’s proved alliance with Congress despite its repeated denials,’ said Bikash Basnet,Spokesperson Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party.
‘This is nothing but a desperate drama staged ahead of elections in various states to stay politically relevant by congress and its alliance. SDF by joining hands with SPCC in such laughable protests, SDF has further proven that it holds no credibility, vision or issue to place before the people of Sikkim’, Basnet added.
‘The Election Commission of India has already dismissed Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of “vote theft” as baseless and clarified that no manipulation was possible in the manner alleged. If SDF and SPCC were serious, they should have raised the matter during counting not after one and a half years ? Their sudden noise only proves their opportunism.’
