
Gangtok,12th Oct(Nita Nirash) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has embarked on a year-long celebration to commemorate its centenary year (1925-2025).
The celebrations ,will run until Vijay Dashami 2026 and feature a range of events across the country.
‘In Sikkim, the RSS has inaugurated its centenary celebrations with a ‘path sanchalan’ (march) in Gangtok and Pakyong. The march in Gangtok began at Zero Point and culminated at Thakurbari Temple, passing through TN Junction, MLA Hostel, and Old Sadar Thana. RSS volunteers from Gangtok district participated in the march in uniform,’ according to information circulated by the BJP publicity.
The event was attended by prominent RSS leaders, including Vishwarup Kundu, Daya Ram Bhattarai, and Nandan Kumar. The program aims to promote national unity, discipline, and selfless service, reflecting the RSS’s core values.
