ONE TIME SETTLE,MENT: Clear Violation dues @ 50% by 31st August for Vehicles : SO Bhutia Chairman
Gangtok18th August:The Owners of vehicles,have been extended facility in the form of One Time Settlement of e- chalan .Under the scheme only 50 of penalty imposed has to be paid.But if it is not paid by 31st ,full payment will have to be paid’,Chairman Chalak Board Sonam Ongdup Bhutia ,appealed to all vehicle owners,here on Monday.The penalty has been imposed by AI traffic management system installed a few months back.Now it is being used for managing everything relevant,without generating the penalty bills,temporarily.
‘Those who have sold/bought any vehicle,they have been asked to get the changed new ownership registered as also mobile numbers Otherwise they will miss the important messages ,those will go to old number.
The Govt Transport office earlier informed , that the Portals like Parivahan.govt.in and www.challan.sntd.in can be used.Once latest phone number is registered,payment can be done via mobile ,after a link is received click on it then pay the fine imposed.’
Therefore ,better rush and pay off your penalty before 31st August 2025 and take advantage of the bonanza allowed by the Chief Minister PS Tamang to ease the economic burden.Though he has said better not make more mistakes !
