Rai has said, ‘On this sacred occasion of Pant Lhabsol, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Sikkim. This festival is not merely a ritual; it is a profound expression of our unity, faith, and gratitude to the guardian deities of our land Mount Khangchendzonga and the protective divinities who safeguard our state.’
‘Pang Lhabsol also reminds us of the historic oath of blood brotherhood taken centuries ago a sacred bond that continues to inspire harmony among all communities of Sikkim.
