NiState-Level Review of New Criminal Laws
Gangtok, July 12: Chief Minister ,PS Tamang assessed the implementation of three criminal justice reforms: the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).
Chief Minister PS Tamang ,launched the Compendium of Notifications, Rules, and SOPs on New Criminal Laws.
Earlier ,Home Secretary M. Bharani presented the New Criminal Laws (NCL) and implementation efforts. Chief Secretary R .Telang, DGP Akshay Sachdev, the Law Secretary, Health Secretary, and senior officials from the Sikkim Police were also present.
