Transforming Our Highways: A Call to Action for a Cleaner Greener Sikkim
Gangtok 19th July :The third day of Shramdaan, plantation drive focusing on flowering plants is set to beautify the highway corners from Pani House to Mayfair in the 25th Upper Tadong constituency.
Minister and Area MLA GT Dhungel, actively participated in today’s Shramdaan. He was joined by Karma Subba (OSD to CM – Political Affairs), Phurba Ringzing Sherpa (Chairperson), Sekhar Sewa (Chairperson), Chewang Thendup Lepcha (17th Ward Upper Tadong Councillor), Sonam Pintso Bhutia (Vice-President Gangtok District), Bimal Thattal (CLC President), Rubina Gurung (18th Ward Upper Tadong), and many other executives.
This initiative ,according to Ranjana Pradhan ‘reflects the esteemed vision of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), who continuously highlights the significance of connecting with nature through plantation efforts for a cleaner, greener Sikkim.’‘Under the leadership of Hon’ble Minister and MLA GT Dhungel, this drive aims not only to enhance our environment but also to cultivate a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty of our state.
