Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar ,joined by Dr Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr Vivek Joshi,Election Commissioners successfully implemented certain modules of E-CINET ,during recent Bye-polls in Kerala,Gujrat,Punjab and West Bengal State Assembly constituencies.And released Index Cards for the same constituencies within 72 hours!
It has worked wonders for the Voters, stakeholders and the entire machinery because the information can now be disclosed faster in comparison to manually working out.The new civilized system boasts of auto filling the Index Cards using E-CINET inputs.
This has revolutionized the process of statutory post election statistical reporting and format that is Index Cards.ECI had developed the system in late 80’s to promote accessibility of election related data at the constituency level for all concerned .( based on inputs from ECI).
