Kolkata:10th Jan: Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee,has written a letter to Chief Election Commissioner of India,New Delhi,about SIR going on in the State.’Out of anguish,out of responsibility and steadfast commitment to democracy ‘,the letter has been written ,according to her.
C.M Banerjee,has expressed dissatisfaction at SIR which according to her has become a way out to exclude names. She described Special Intensive Revision ( SIR) of Electoral Rolls, going on in her State as ‘ an excercise meant to include becoming an instrument to intimidate and exclude.’
