Gangtok:13th April: CM PS Tamang chaired a high-level coordination meeting at Samman Bhawan to review and streamline preparations for the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi , later this month.
CM said ,’ The visit marks a moment of immense pride and joy for the people of Sikkim, as we look forward to the gracious presence of the Prime Minister at the closing ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of our Statehood. Given the significance of the occasion, he emphasized that all arrangements must reflect the highest standards of efficiency, dignity, and excellence.’
‘Detailed discussions were held to ensure seamless inter-departmental coordination, timely execution of responsibilities, and the upholding of Sikkim’s enduring legacy of warmth and hospitality. Clear directions were issued to all concerned departments to maintain close coordination and ensure that every aspect of the visit is conducted smoothly and successfully’.
