RARI. Observes Ayurveda Day ’25 :For People -Foe Planet
Gangtok,23rd Sept: Ayurveda Day ,is being observed by Regional Ayurvedic Institute ,Tadung here .
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said on the occasion ‘ Ayurveda is ancient heritage.By adopting the simple and practical system of Ayurveda in our life style,we can move forward leading a healthy life.
While Chief Minister,PS Tamang has said ‘ Ayurveda heals not only the body but also the soul’.
Dr Jagdish Chandra,Assistant Director Incharge,RARI here,said here ,on Tuesday that ‘ the Institute has been providing tremendous services to public.Besides research and innovation the Ayurvedic Institute has an Outpatient facility and the charges are meagre.Panchkarma therapy is also available.
The outreach programmes include ,Tribal health care research prog,Ayurvedic Mobile health clinic prog under Scheduled caste sub plan.Besides these collection and preservation of medicinal plants is also done .
The Institute has been spreading awareness in remote rural areas of State.said Dr Ligima Research Officer ( Ayurveda).Dr Sreelakshmi RD Research Officer was also present during the interaction on Ayurveda Day held at the institute here today.
