Gangtok:29th Sept:A Curtain Raiser to Sikkim Arts , Culture and Literature fest, hosted by Chairman Students Welfare Board joined by MLA Aditya Golay and D. Namgyal saw organisers from Jaipur Literary Fest.
MLA Aditya Golay ,announced that it has been scheduled to start from 28th October and continue till 30th Oct,’26.The Fest hosted in 2023 in Yuksum by SKM Students wing, will now be held for the First time under the recently formed SS W Board, Education Deptt , Govt of Sikkim.’
‘Earlier programme saw participation of National & International authors, penalists and others.’He stated that Sikkim ALF having tied up with eminent Jaipur Literary Festival team is anticipating great success .

MLA D Namgyal,said ‘The fest with its Chief Patron CM PS Tamang will be held here and himself being the area MLA ,is duty bound to support the Fest and make it successful .
Chairperson Culture wing Bhim Kumari Sharma,was happy to disclose that it is going to have sessions for kids also And requsted parents to participate.
Sayed Sharma Jawaid,Senior Vice President Team Works Arts,said ‘The fest includes Workshops,Poetry,Story writing ,music ,arts and many more .50 + authors and artists are expected to join from within the State and outside.Book store/ stall will be put up with the books of au5hors who deliver talks .One can buy the book of their favorite and get it signed.
