Mangar, Newar, Sanyasi, Sunuwar (Mukhia) and Thami & EIECOS+1, congratulated
the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), and the Government of Sikkim on the historic establishment of the Helen Lepcha Sikkim Government Medical College, which is scheduled to begin its academic session on 18 September 2026.”

aspiring youth of Sikkim brings the dream of pursuing MBBS closer to home. In the past, the youth, had to leave Sikkim to pursue their dream of becoming a MBSS doctor, a great challenge to the economically weaker parents from the villages of Sikkim.”
