Gangtok:10th June : CM PS Tamang congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi ,on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India’s democratic history, surpassing the record of 4,398 days held by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru . This remarkable milestone reflects the unwavering trust of the people, his visionary leadership, and tireless dedication to nation-building’,said CM.
CM has highlighted PM’s transformative vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047 and expressed confidence that this collective aspiration of Indians will be realised under his leadership.
Making special mention of the Northeast, CM Tamang, conveyed gratitude for his unwavering commitment to the region. Under PM’s leadership, the Northeast has emerged as a hub of opportunity, development, and progress. By recognising the region as “Ashta Lakshmi,” he has elevated its stature and ensured that it occupies a central place in India’s development journey. According to CM, ‘PM’s visit to Sikkim during State’s Golden Jubilee celebrations remains a matter of great pride for the people of the State.’
CM lauded the ‘remarkable growth of the NDA under Modi’s leadership, from a coalition of 25 parties during the tenure of the revered Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji to a strong alliance of 39 parties today, built on the principles of trust, mutual respect, and collective progress.’
CM extended congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister, also on behalf of people. And has ‘prayed for his continued good health, long life, and strength as he leads India towards becoming a developed nation and a Vishwaguru.’
