Srinagar:19th May :_ “National Women’s Commission Your Dwar” organized #Mahila_PublicHearing. The initiative was organized to provide women easier access to justice and further empower institutional cooperation at the ground level. District Magistrate Akshay Labru, SSP Srinagar Dr. Sandeep Chakraborty along with senior officers were present on this occasion.
According to National Women Commission,President Vijaya Rahatker. during the Women’s Public Hearing hearing on women safety, domestic violence, cybercrime, property dispute, workplace harassment, family dispute and other women related issueswas conducted.
This program reflects the National Women’s Commission towards quick alleviation of women’s complaints, better coordination among various organizations and especially making the judicial system more accessible for women in sensitive and remote areas like Jammu and Kashmir.
