Gangtok:15th April: A grand Golden Jubilee Celebration of NewsPaper Sikkim Express,was held in Manan Kendra, here today.The programme was held in the presence of Chief Guest PS Tamang,Special Guest Prince Palden Namgyal ,Minister Sonam Lama, Minister Arun Upreti and MLAs had a good response.
Guests from other parts included,Founder& Editor -in -Chief of The Print, Shekhar Gupta, Prez,Indian News Paper Society Vivek Gupta and Prez All India Small & Medium Newspapers Federation Gurinder Singh.
All those who had contributed to the News Paper ,in past and present were honoured.
A cultural presentations for entertainment was also there.
The authorities SE house Mrs Mala Rana Patro founding member,Son Amit Patro and Mrs Krishna Patro were appreciated by CM PS Tamang for having completed a long journey facing all the challenges,so far and serving the society in their way.
