Gangtok:3rd April : Former CM Pawan Kumar Chamling has extended his message to the people of Sikkim on Easter. He has said in the message ‘On this sacred occasion of Good Friday, I join the people of Sikkim—especially our Christian community—in solemn remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, whose life and teachings continue to inspire humanity toward compassion, justice, and truth.’
The message of Good Friday—love for one another, forgiveness, and the courage to stand firm in righteousness even in the face of adversity—holds deep relevance in our times. As we reflect today, let us recommit ourselves to these values in both our public and personal lives.
Sikkim has always been a land of peace, unity, and mutual respect. Let us draw strength from the teachings of Jesus Christ to further strengthen these bonds and work together for a more just, inclusive, and compassionate society.
