Gangtok:24th March: Ramotsav Samiti, is going to organise a ‘Kalash Yatra’, on 26th March, here at MG Marg. Governor OP Mathur and CM PS Tamang have been invited for it, followed by ‘ Aarti ‘ ,at Thakurbari, ‘ informed President, Organising Committee Ramesh Periwal. He has appealed to all the people on mg marg to light 11 lamps ( diyas) each and illuminate at 5 pm on 26th March,while the Kalash Yatra passes by.
- According to him the ‘ Kalash Yatra’ will start from Control room,MG Marg and go upto Statue of Panda ,from there it will return back to Thakurbari.The Yatra will be followed by aarti and prasad distribution.
Subsequently 9 day long ‘ Ram Katha ‘ ,will be recited
.It is scheduled from 3 pm to 6.30 pm daily from 27th March to 4th April.In view of the disturbed peace globally ,pujas for peace will be offered ,
Pundit from Vrindavan will head the pujas and other pundits here will help people to offer pujas.Prasad after puja will be given.
All are invited to participate .
