Gangtok:6th March:Political Secretary to CM cum Spokesperson SKM party, Jacob Khaling highlights the way jobs are being goven presently.He was addressing media as a result of Former CM Pawan Chamling’s statement about recruitment by SPSC .
‘It has been wrongly said ( by Chamling) that SPSC is not fair.Those who carry party flags and support are being recruited is not true.Govt has not been influencing SPSC,’ said Khaling He also explained Two types of recruitment by Govt viz Adhoc& MR for poor ,just given jobs without interviews and 2nd for educated to higher posts through interviews.Khaling tracing back rhe hostory of SPSC then, said , ‘ It was during Chamling regime that some wrongdoing took place. There were court cases against selection done and once court even delivered judgement against those selected. So , he has no roght to say anything. Those living in glass houses should not throw stones on orhers! I hereby question Chamling on this.’
When questioned about BJP ‘s memorandum on the same issue ,Khaling said anyone who is not saitsfied can go to court take legal action.
It is well known that recently there was much uproar against the process of exam and results declared by SPSC for the post of Sub-inspector. It had huge political and unsucessful public opposition .
