Gangtok:23rd Feb:BJP Sikkim Mahila Morcha strongly condemning protest of Congress has said , ‘ the shameful and vulgar action by the Congress party, which staged a “shirtless” protest at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 is condemned .This incident is nothing less than a national shame and a clear attempt to damage India’s reputation on the global stage.’
BJP SMM,has added. ‘ India was proudly hosting this important international summit at Bharat Mandapam, where the country showcased its strong progress in technology and innovation to world leaders and major companies like Google and OpenAI.The event focused on democratizing AI and highlighting India’s role as a leader in the field. At such a moment of national pride, Congress workers, reportedly under the direction of Rahul Gandhi, entered the high-security venue, removed their shirts, and created chaos in front of international delegates. This act was meant to embarrass India and grab attention through cheap tactics instead of meaningful debate.’
‘Political opposition is part of democracy, but deliberately harming the nation’s image is unacceptable. By choosing vulgarism and disruption at a summit meant to promote India’s growth in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Congress party has shown it puts petty politics above the country’s success. It appears that for Congress, AI now means “Anti-India.”
‘The people will not forget this effort to undermine a proud achievement. While the government continues its work to build a developed India and make the nation a technology superpower, Congress remains trapped in negativity and chaos. Such actions cannot stop India’s forward journey.’
