Inner Wheel club hosts Financial literacy talk in Sikkim Professional University
Gangtok:16th Feb: Inner Wheel Club,hostsed a session on Financial Literacy for Nurses.Anup Thirani, delivered a talk on the subject.70 students of Professional University attended the talk by the Resource Person,Thirani.He is the Licenced Financial Adviser, among the top 500 in the country.
The Nurses,all Third Year students,took great interest in the topic.He mentioned recurring deposits,saving in banks and other saving habits.
Highlighting the purpose of IWC ,holding the talk for students a member said , ‘ Financial literacy is important , they being 3rd year students ,are about to get into earning,hence its important to learn, how to save.They had many questions and had good interaction .Students were impressed.
‘Planning to have more sessions in other institutions, ‘ said Meera Oberoi. Member of IW. She addressed the introductory session and informed students about the topic, its importance and the Respurce Person.
Its well known that financial literacy empowers the learners and saving habit paves way for firther tensionless life (nn).
