Gangtok:27th Jan :Chairperson Ramesh Dahal, and Bimal Nepal, Secretary-cum-Registrar of the Sikkim State Allied and Healthcare Council, attended a crucial meeting of the State Allied and Healthcare Councils convened by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) on 21 January 2026 at the National Institute of Health & Family Welfare (NIHFW), Munirka, New Delhi, under the chairpersonship of Dr. Yagna Unmesh Shukla, Chairperson, NCAHP,as per information circulated today,on return from Delhi.
- The meeting deliberated on key agenda including the status of functioning of the State Council under NCAHP Act 2021, implementation of curriculum “one nation one curriculum” from the academic year 2026–27, process of registration for Allied and Healthcare Institutions and Professionals in the State and Central Register.
The meeting was attended by Chairpersons and Secretaries representing Allied and Healthcare Councils from 16 States of India.
