Gangtok:26th Jan: CM PS Tamang ,has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ashwani Kumar Chand, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, on being conferred the prestigious President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM); Tshering Sherpa, Superintendent of Police, Gyalshing District, on receiving the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM); and Dawa Tamang, Assistant Sub-Fire Officer, on being awarded the President’s Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM).‘These honours, bestowed on the occasion of Republic Day, are a proud recognition of their exceptional professionalism, dedication, courage, and unwavering commitment to duty. Their exemplary service has not only strengthened our institutions but has also enhanced public trust and safety across the state,’ said CM about the Medals awarded to Police officers, mentioned above.
