Gangtok:18th Jan : CM PS Tamang ,launched the first Paragliding Accuracy Championship at Thumki Dara and Amba Dara, Rhenock, under Pakyong District,on Sunday.- CM congratulated everyone involved in bringing the PA Championship initiative to life. According to him, ‘;This project stands as a powerful platform for youth entrepreneurship, enabling young people to become self-reliant and build sustainable livelihoods beyond the conventional pursuit of government jobs. It is encouraging to see how this initiative will empower the youth of Rhenock to earn independently and confidently shape their future.
At the same time, the development of these paragliding sites will significantly boost tourism in the region, creating new business opportunities and contributing to the overall growth of the local economy. ‘
CM Tamang ,appreciated the ‘dedication and effort of Rhenock Tourism Development Society and support of everyone who worked tirelessly to establish the project and make it a reality.’
CM said further , ‘This initiative marks an important step toward empowering our youth and strengthening local tourism’ . He extended sincere gratitude to the land donors for their generous contribution, without which this project would not have been possible, the heads and officials of the concerned departments, organisations and everyone who offered their support and cooperation. Their collective efforts have laid a strong foundation for sustainable growth and opportunity in the region.’
CM , congratulated all the participating teams and the winners, for participation and resultant ‘grand success ‘of the event.
