Gangtok,6th Dec: It was really shocking for everyone to hear about a lady involved with 36 others in trafficking ring .Mrs x ,resident of Lachunghas been arrested under InterPol’s Red Notice.Since she was said to be absconding since long to now arrest has been made from North Sikkim only.
Her accomplice arrested long back happened to confess that he used to trade illegally with her,selling Contrabands .Last time when case was registered she was granted bail in 2017 and was expected to appear for inquiry as per rule,but said to have been missing.This time ‘no bail’, but transit remand and here goes the arrest! She has been charge- sheeted for involvement in trafficking of Tiger skin, bones and bone oil, from Madhya Pradesh, with s long history of poaching since 2015.
