Gangtok:26th Nov: Black Cat div. Trishakti Corps, Indian Army has invited Supercar route from Mumbai, for rally. It is for their project ‘ Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan’ and Supercar group is all set to drive through Sikkim ,important destinations include Chola pass,Nathula and Gnathang-Kupup.
Additional Political Secretary to CM Gangtok District , Tshering Wangchuk Lepcha,Rewaz Chettri OSD to CM and Jain N.Rais,representing Supercars group interacting with media here ,highlighted the event as beneficial for State Tourism as well as economy.
The Car rally will have only exotic cars plying from Siliguri to Rangpo from there to Mayfair resort ,from there to Nathula ,Chola will be a an interesting sight for the people. It is a 4 day rally from 11th December 2025 and Army has opened Chola for us, informed Jain, here today. He said it will be a promotion of luxury tours.The ancient Silk route would be restored.The scenic beauty of Sikkim will be captured by Video team with the group,besides a senior Journalist S Chandra to cover the event through and through.’
Additional Political Secretary to CM .said,’ Many Car Supporting groups have been contacting as they are looking forward to it.The Rally will be a source of inspiration to all.At least 15 % increase in tourism here is expected after the rally due to rally!’
