3rd Spiritual Revival Conference 2025 at Yangang
Yangang, 21.10.2025 : The 3rd Spiritual Revival Conference 2025, organised by the Yangang Youth Combined Fellowship, commenced today at Yangang with great devotion and enthusiasm. The three-day conference, being held from 21st to 23rd October 2025, was graced by Chief Guest Shri Jacob Khaling Rai (Political Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister) and Guests of Honour Shri Bikash Basnet (Political Secretary to HCM), Shri R. K. Basnet (Chairman, IFFCO), Shri C. L. Gurung (Advisor, Food Processing Department), Shri Karma Subba (OSD to HCM), Shri S. B. Rai (OSD, Agriculture Department), Smt. Denkila Bhutia (OSD to MLA), Shri Tangayla Namkha (CLC President), Pastor Enos Subba (President, UCCO, Yangang), Shri R. N. Dungmali (In-charge, SB), Smt. Leela Rai (Zilla Panchayat), and Smt. Krishna Pradha Rai (Panchayat President), along with pastors from various churches, elders, devotees, and members of the local community. The event is being hosted and coordinated by the Yangang Youth Combined Fellowship under the leadership of President Pastor Enos Subba, supported by elders, pastors, and youth volunteers from different local churches under 15-Rangang Yangang constituency.
The Day-1 proceedings hosted by Ps. Rohan Limboo, began with an Opening Prayer at 10:00 AM, followed by Praise and Worship, creating an atmosphere of faith and devotion. Elder Michael Dilhung Limboo delivered the Welcome Speech, setting a tone of gratitude and spirituality for the day. Bouquets and khadas were presented to the dignitaries before the formal opening declaration of the three-day conference by the Chief Guest. Messages from Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) were shared through a video projection, conveying his blessings and encouragement to all participants. The congregation was spiritually enriched by the Word of God shared by Ps. Santosh Dewapatay, followed by a soulful song by Shri L. B. Baraily.
In the event, Shri Jacob Khaling Rai and Shri Bikash Basnet were felicitated by the organisers along with other guests, who were presented with tokens of love and appreciation for their presence and support. The felicitation marked a gesture of gratitude from the organisers to all dignitaries for their contributions to community welfare and guidance. The video message of Hon’ble Dy. Speaker cum Area MLA Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa was played during the event.
Delivering his Chief Guest address, Shri Jacob Khaling Rai extended warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) to all attendees. He stated that such religious gatherings not only enlighten society but also inspire the faithful to uphold spiritual and moral values for generations to come. He encouraged everyone to take the good teachings from the conference and to carry forward the legacy of unity and devotion established by the senior and elders. He also highlighted the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s vision of fostering harmony, compassion and faith as essential pillars of a progressive Sikkim.
Guest of Honour Shri Jacob Khaling appreciated the organisers for their dedication and commitment in promoting spirituality, fellowship, and moral strength among the youth of Yangang.
The first day of the conference concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ps. Enos Gurung, followed by a fellowship lunch leaving the gathering spiritually rejuvenated and inspired to continue the journey of faith and unity.
