Gangtok:20th Sept:Sikkim Youth Welfare Association during a visit to Nimtar Rehab did their best to identify the drug hots pots. Interacted to make abusers understand the root causes of their addiction. ‘‘ We carried out mapping of drug hotspots and trafficking routes, while identifying vulnerable places, wards, and localities that require urgent community attention.’
The Youth Welfare Association has appealed to every citizen of our state ‘ to join hands in this mission to protect our youth, future, and Sikkim.’
Objectives of the Mission include ‘Prevent drug abuse -Reduce trafficking- Support recovery through community-based intervention, youth engagement, and inter-departmental collaboration.”
‘Motivate abusers to work together to stop drug trafficking in our community,’said Robin Rai in Founder SYWA finally.And appealed to community to support the mission against drug abuse.
