42nd Panglhabsol Celebration 2025 Rabong from 30th August to 7th September
Gangtok : 30th August : MLA Rikshal Dorjee Bhutia as Chief Guest inaugurated the programme, joined by others Including Chairman TT Bhutia, Chairman Sonam Pintso Bhutia, OSD IPR Pema Chulthim Bhutia, APS Namchi Bishnu Sharma, Govt. Contractor Jamyong Bhutia and Social Worker Bikash Agrawal present as Guests of Honour.
The opening also featured the first match of the Inter-State Volleyball Tournament between Rabong-6 and Phamtam, witnessed by a large gathering of the public.
The present Panglhabsol Celebration Committee comprises SDM Rabong Wangchuk Sherpa, BDO Rabong B.B. Tamang, SDPO Roshan Rai, and the Tibetan Settlement Officer.
Panglhabsol, celebrated every September, honours guardian deity Mount Khangchendzonga. The festival will conclude on 7th September with the sacred Pangtham Cham and traditional dances.
PLCC has invited all to witness the 2025 Panglhabsol celebrations at Rabong.
