Gangtok,4th August : Sikkim CM PS Tamang has greeted people on Guru Rimpoche’s ( Padamasambhava) birth anniversary today.In his message CM has said ,’On the sacred occasion of Guru Rimpoche’s Thrunkar Tshechu, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim.’
‘This auspicious day commemorates the birth anniversary of Guru Rimpoche, the revered Patron Saint of Sikkim, who introduced Buddhism to our Himalayan homeland in the 8th century and blessed it with his divine presence and spiritual grace.’
‘May this day inspire us to walk the path of compassion and harmony, and may the blessings of our Patron Saint continue to guide Sikkim and all sentient beings towards peace, well-being, and resilience in these challenging times.’
