Gangtok:27th July: Former BJP MLA YT Lepcha,has described procedure adopted by State BJP to oust him from the party as ‘ Unconstitutional and against the principles -policies ‘ of the organisation.’
Former MLA Lepcha,has said that ‘ an explanation,a warning or even a show cause notice is given before suspending or ousting a member of party.But,in his case he came to know through the news made public.’It ,he said is an irresponsible way of doing it and making the news public( before due process).It is really serious,said Lepcha.
YT has claimed that certain State BJP leaders had been going in the direction opposite to Central BJP and Sikkim ‘s ruling SKM party alliance policy ,they even hob nobbed with Sikkim Democratic Front party looking for alternative to ruling govt,after 2019.’He has added that those who were working against party should be taken to task and disciplinary action taken against them.’
However BJP State has urged all not to accept YT Lepcha’s statements as of their party,as he is not longer in BJP.His views do not reflect the views of party.NN.
