
Trishakti Corps :Tribute on Kargil Vijay Diwas

Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on 26 July to commemorate India’s historic victory in the 1999 Kargil War. On this day, the nation pays tribute to the brave soldiers who fought and made the ultimate sacrifice to protect India’s sovereignty.
Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army marked the day with solemn ceremonies to honour the courage and sacrifices of the Kargil heroes.
According to Defence authorised source, ‘a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Trishakti War Memorial at Sukna Military Station by Lt Gen Zubin A Minwalla, General Officer Commanding, Trishakti Corps, along with military veterans, officers, JCOs, and soldiers. Everyone observed a moment of silence to honour the bravehearts.’
On this occasion, military veterans were also felicitated for their service and contribution to the nation.
