EPF for Employees’ benefit: Regional Commissioner

 Gangtok,25th July :First State Coordination  Committee meeting  and a Workshop  about PM VRY  held here today,in a local Hotel.

;The Scheme would come into force from 1st August 2024.It will benefit Three and a half crore Youth in the country ,it has total outlay of  of Rs 99 Thousand Crore  ,44 Hundred and 66.The historic scheme has 2 parts.A/ for new Employees under this GOI will pay 15 thousand   2 instalments  @ Seven and a half Thousand ,B/For Employee those having less than 50 will get for rejoining employee having Universal Account NO for 2 employees EPF Contribution 3Thousand per month.for 3 years 12%”said Regional Commissioner.

 The focus of the scheme for manufacturing units is for 4 years.The scheme is expected to  improve the saving habit of employees in through EPF.

Others who joined the Commissioner included,,Suman Subba Assistant Labour Commissioner Gangtok,T.Gouminlal  MESME representative. Prabin Kumar Mandal SSO  ESIC,,,HK Das  Enforcement Officer SSO gtk EPFO.

Many corporates Hoteliers attended virtually.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Employment linked Incentive Scheme has been renamed as PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojna.
