SKM Wondering if Citizen Action Party Targeted Vigilance Deptt due to raids carried out in Power Project ‘Maha Ghotala’

Gangtok:19th July: Seven Youth leaders of ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha ,have Condemned the Citizen Action Party  targeting the Sikkim Vigilance and reportedly causing disturbance to Govt Servants on duty.

Those who retaliated to the statements of CAP Youth General Secretary and others after their release from Police custody,included Political Secretaries to CM cum Spokespersons Jacob Khaling,Bikash Basnet ,Press Adviser to CM Biren Tamilng, Krishna Lepcha OSD to RD Deptt,Sanjay Dilpali  Chairman ,Art Culture & Heritage Development Board,Kavita Sapkota ,Sahdev Sharma State Youth Vice President and Yogan Tamang Press Secretary to CM cum Spokesperson SKM.Prominent others who attended include Ranjana Pradhan President Press & Publicity,Junnu and 3 Others.

Bikash Basnet ,highlighted that when SKM was i myn opposition no uncivilized behaviour attitude was shown.Pointing at CA Party,he urged them to Reform their electoral status first which stands at only 6%.He said CA Party has been opposing people oriented, poor oriented policies of SKM,main being Scholarships,Khas Diwas’ and more .They have been echoing SDF party,particularly in attacking Lakpa Muktan Youth leader .They were propagating in favour of SDF candidates during last election.’

Political Secretary Khaling said, ‘ They have been targeting Vigilance probably due to raids being carried out by  Vigilance from 3rd- 4th Week of May, onwards and even recently.The raids are being conducted regarding a’ Maha Ghotala’ in Power Projects before 2019 .I would like to ask them to apologise for all the bad language used against our leader and Lakpa Jojo.It is likely that their  leader is involved in the Project.

Press Adviser to CM,said ,’ Calling us ‘ Goonda’ ! CAP should prove it. This is their old system.Actually,they have done it to divert the attention of public from the developmental initiatives of our SKM Govt.They have been tarnishing our image as well as of individuals.And CAP should be preparing to face Court.They should apologise for all this,’ said  ,Tamilng Press Adviser to CM.

However,it is yet to be known if CAP would go on with the Campaign, ‘ Pension Not Position’, directly inside the offices or adopt any way out acceptable to one and all ,safer for future of their younger followers.
