26th July Plantation by Tadung GT Dhungel Constituency to Start from Mayfair Gate to Pani House
Gangtok,15th July :Tadung constituency CLC President ,accompanied by Sonam Pintso Vice President ,District level Yogesh Chettri,Bishnu Luitel madam and Dipen Chettri CLC General Secretary,interacted with media here today.CLC President,stressing on the Environmental Campaign ‘ Connect to Earth,Shramdan for Clean and Green Sikkim,announced ,’It will go on till 26th July in Tadung Constituency.The plantation will take place from Mayfair hotel point to Pani House .12 points have been surveyed.All the Tadung constituency residents and other invitees are expected to participate to see the vision of Chief Minister PS Tamang come true un der the leadership of Minister GT Dhungel.’
‘Plantation can be done in the name of any one of the family members.Whole Ward should take the responsibility to take care of the plants later also.On the whole it will be beautified,’ added CLC President.
Vice President ,Sonam Pintso,said that the area around ‘Joredhara ‘will be beautified,it being a water source.It is the responsibility of citizens to keep Sikkim clean and Green.And make CM’s vision of ‘Sunaulo-Samridha and -Saksham ‘Sikkim come true as a part of Sikkim@50 celebrations going on.’
Finally,the duo informed that the pits for plants are being made ready,,residents of different areas can go on planting saplings in their areas ,need not walk down to Mayfair only. Ministers and other dignitaries will also be participating.It is expected that flowering bushes ,creepers and other plants would make the area look beautiful in the days to come and attractive to tourists also.
The Organisers have invited Students from Schools,Colleges ,University,Principles Staff and many others to participate in the movement .
