CAP Uncertain of Viksit Sikkim Marching towards ‘ Viksit Bharat’ at all
Gangtok,17th June: While Sikkim is already celebrating Golden Jubilee of Statehood of Sikkim and achievements, opposition parties have certain reservations.
Citizen Action Party ,has expressed doubts about the achievements and future of the State.Party President,Ganesh Rai,has alleged that under the present circumstances and policies,the development envisioned by PM N Modi can’t be realised in here.
‘ PM Modi PM,stressed on sustainable urbanization,good governance,good establishments – institutions,accountable & responsible Govt,rule of law,citizen centric administration,transparency ,cooperative federalism and anti corruption measures,’ highlighted Rai.
According to CAP President,’ The system here will lead to ‘ Barbad'( spoilt ) Sikkim in due course.He has alleged ‘Unscientific urbanization,failure of industries – closure of at least 10 in deforestation for providing the best of output to party functionaries,no accountability,concerned avoiding their responsibilities and acting like party ‘karyakartas’.He went as far as saying that the Local Self Govt has collapsed.Corruption is also prevalent according to him.
Rai,has suggested ‘ reviewing and rethinking the policies being followed to improve the economical condition and to contribute to the ‘ Viksit Bharat’ becoming ‘ Viksit Sikkim’ by 2047 .
Ganesh Rai, expressed his opinion / disagreement on Viksit Sikkim as a result of 2 day long Workshop for Govt officers ,talks delivered and CM’s address.
