36 Candidates selected via recruitment drive arranged by MLA Delay Namgyal
Gangtok,18th May ( Nita Nirash) The recruitment, drive initiated by MLA Delay Namgyal and Coordinated by Rinchen Dorjee Bhutia,,at Dzong building here today had good response.
The recruitment drive has been conducted by ADECCO and CII companies
.MLA DNamgyal said , ‘ our youth should get exposure and experience outside the State.This is the first initiative by us.In Gangtok it has been come to our notice that many do not have COI so they can not get Govt jobs.With my Youth President we have initiated this to get them an option.this is a Golden opportunity for them.”
Altogether,13 girls and 12 boys have been recruited for Tata Electronics ( Apple Phone Assembly Technicians)and 11 boys for Motherson Sumi have been selected.however,9 boys have expressed interest in job opportunity exclusively within Sikkim.They are waiting for placement,’ said Rinchen Dorjee Bhutia,Office of MLA ,27 Gangtok Constituency..
Once they have started they will continue as it was said to have been a trial recruitment drive to see what type of response they will get,according to Office of Gangtok MLA.
