
Sikkim’s Kuzo fest replaced by ‘ Sarwa Dharma & Jatiya ‘ Meet
Gangtok: The Kuzo festival going on since 1st May at MG Marg and Manan Kendra here,saw it’s Valedictory function postponed.According to a statement by the Governor OP Mathur ,he asked Chief Secretary for a ‘ Sarva Dharma Puja’ and within no time it was arranged for.A resolution extending support to nation led by PM Modi,was passed ,signed by Governor.CM and others followed.
The Sarva Dharma & Jatiya Sabha’s, was held here.Religious gurus from different religions prayed for peace in the country They included Buddhist Monks,Maulvis,Pundits ,Pasters,Sikh gurus,Rai Monpas,Limboo Phedangpas and Lepcha Bomthings.
The Chief Minister of Sikkim ,PS Tamang addressing the gathering said,’ We all extend support to PM Narendra Modi,Union Minister for Home Amit Shah,Defence Minister Raj Nath for Operation Sindoor.Terrorists have taken life of innocent( tourists).We have never been defeated as per history.May God give strength to Army.We wish their early success.’
CM extended full support on the very significant moment to PM Modi and asked people to remain alert,with patriotism at top,be united and show oath to youngsters.
