Shakti Sadan and Special Adoption Agency run under Association of Social Health in India ( ASHI) has been taken over by the State Govt.The project funded by Centre has been handed over at the directions of concerned Central Ministry.
The staff holing Sikkim Subject certificates will be working under the new authority while those only having Indian citizenship ( residents of Darjeeling and Kalimpong are still looking for jobs.
All the staff were offered khadas by President ASHI ( Mrs ) Dinesh Pradhan,Khush Kumari Secretary and Advisor Rudra Paudyal.They were presented mementos and citations by (Mrs) Naksuk,Dikkila,Mrs Mingma Lepcha.This was followed by a grand feast.
