President Citizen Action Party visits West Point Mall
Gangtok,7th April : Prez Citizen Action Party,Ganesh Rai, accompanied by his party’ functionaries visited all the under-construction Govt buildings ,here in town area, today.
While visiting the West Point Mall Parking level 2-3 he interacted with the Managing authorities in office.Rai was informed that 80% of the space in the Mall has been rented/leased out ( to Companies not individuals).Rai lamented that no local beneficiary was there.’Outsiders have been allowed,not those born in Sikkim,’ said Rai.
One parking level has to be managed by Sikkim Govt ‘s authorised agency and the other one already by the company.
Subsequently Ganesh Rai visited Star Mall outer area and said that the area is sinking and would be risky for public in near future.
While he was almost through answering ,the question of a digital media ,someone shouting was heard with 4-5 around him.He tried to object to Rai’s statements.
