Gangtok:29th Jan: PIB Gangtok in collaboration with RDD Sikkim Govt held a media workshop ‘ Vartalap’ session for media, here on Thursday .
The main focus was on ‘Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rojgar and Ajeevika Mission ( Gramin) VB- G RAM G Act 2025.
Cluster Head Prasad Bharti Neeraj Pandey was the Chief Guest,Nima Lhaden Lachungpa ,Special Secy RDD Project Director and Anita Subba Special Secy IPR ,were the guests of honour.They spoke on the theme of the day.
Neeraj Pandey,stressed on need to change mentality in order to accept newly implemented schemes instead of just criticising.
State Project Director Nima Tshering Bhutia spoke in detail about the impact of the VB- RAM G Act and it’s impact as also difference between it and MGNREGA.
Manas Pratim Sharma PIB welcomed the guests and delivered and introductory speech.
Gathering included print and digital media on news paper hawkers and others related .
